This winning end-of year fundraising campaign included a mailing and 4 email efforts. What contributed to its success? The direct response tactics used to highlight the “doubling your gift” benefit. Note these examples: On the reply card, urgent copy is placed in a handwriting script, to make it pop more. In the email, a “Double my gift” button was designed to get full attention, and a P.S. becomes a powerful urgent reminder.
